Tree Free Cards

If you're looking for something a little different, look no further than the Tree-Free range. Made by American company Tree Free Greetings, these stunning cards are printed in full colour on every surface - front, back and even inside. The envelope is fully printed both sides with a complementary design, which means these cards make an impact even before the envelope is opened! Also available are tinned sets of twelve cards containing three each of four designs.

Example of Tree Free Card and EnvelopeThe production of Tree-Free paper uses less water, no chlorine or harmful chemicals, and requires less energy. Tree-Free use paper from sustainably harvested sources like kenaf, sugar cane, and bamboo, as well as from post-consumer recycled paper.

Kenaf Paper

Kenaf paper is used as often as supply allows, and didn't exist before they made it! Their envelopes use 100% kenaf uncoated paper whenever available, and their cards use naturally coated (with clay) kenaf paper.

Sweet-Paper™

Their Sweet-Paper™ cards and envelopes are made from 50% Sugar cane bagasse and 50% recycled fibre, including 30% post-consumer. Sugar cane bagasse is a waste product of the sugar refining industry; it is the fibrous material remaining in the sugar cane after the sugar is removed. By using this waste product as paper pulp, they are putting to good use a product which would otherwise be consigned to landfill.

Bamboo Paper

The bamboo fibre used in Tree-Free's paper is farm-grown specifically for manufacturing purposes under environmentally responsible conditions. Bamboo is known to be one of the fastest growing renewable crops available.
