Duality Moon
Greetings card featuring the Glyph of Life, amongst several other elements! The card is blank inside for your own message.
Artists description:
"This painting 'Duality Moon', has quite honestly 'painted itself'! Using only a Compass and a Square, I created what I now know to be the Glyph of Life, and a Mandala! It needs to be rotated to get the full effect, because when I painted the Lion (to represent the masculine Life force, the Fire), miraculously the Eagle appeared (representing Wind) when it was turned upside down. I turned the painting round, and created the Moon ... the feminine influence and the Vitruvian Man, (representing Earth) then the Bull appeared! The desire for something greater than yourself, not of this world, the point in the heart is thought of as the embryo of the soul, it is a tiny point of Bina, implanted in the egoistical heart from above.
The four elements, Earth, Wind, Fire and Water mix as the painting slowly spins, and as it revolves so do the Zodiac Symbols and Alchemical Symbols. The shapes are those of the elements as you look into it, you should be able to make out the cubes, pentagons, hexagons and dodecahedron. If you study the Kabbalah, the Chakra can be aligned, and produce healing and calm within the body. Creating balancing forces throughout nature but also the soul ... something I think we all need ... it is quite magical.
This view depicts the Moon's influence on the planets and zodiac signs, ultimately life itself."
